PDP 12-Years Misrule, Audu Boasts
Abubakar Audu, the gubernatorial
candidate of the All Progressives Congress in Kogi state has pledged to deliver
democracy dividend to the people of the state if elected.

He made this assurance to the people of Yagba West local government area that they will feel the positive impact of his administration once voted in.
Audu also stated that he will end the alleged payment
of 25% of their salaries of all local government workers, Daily Post reports.
The governorship candidate also alleged that Governor
Idris Wada diverted the fund of the local councils.
He said: “The PDP government has failed Kogi
people. No good roads, no water, no healthcare, no salaries, yet, they are
clamouring for re-election.
“Will you re-elect a failure? Will you re-elect the
government that is stealing your salaries? Will you re-elect the government
that has failed in giving you social amenities? Join hands with the APC to
bring back the glory of our dear state.
“During my time as governor of the state, all of you
saw what we did. What I did in four years could not be matched by the twelve years
of PDP.
“They have
destroyed all the legacies I created. They are only interested in embezzling
the resources of the state.
“Vote them out on November 21 so that we can reinvent
our state and bring development to our people.”
Meanwhile, PDP had said it will not accept
any results that do not reflect the wishes of the people in the
forthcoming Kogi and Bayelsa elections.
The party in a communique called
on the new chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission chairman
Mahmood Yakubu to ensure the independence of the commission during the
elections.
