FIFA U-17 W/Cup: America Bows To Nigeria's Super Eaglets

The Golden Eaglets of Nigeria on Saturday, October 17, began their title defence at the FIFA U-17 World Cup in Chile, with a comfortable 2-0 win over the USA.
Although they started slowly, the team put their act together and shone brilliantly to win the tricky encounter by two second half goals from Agbor and Isimhen.
The Nigerians would have had more goals than those two, but for the heroics of the Americans’ goalkeeper, who made fine saves from the Nigerian teenagers.
They will now play against the hosts, Chile in their second group match on Tuesday, October 20, to cement their passage to the next phase of the competition.
